Britni & James were married at the University of Maryland Memorial Chapel and their reception was held at the Bethesda Marriott. They both graduated from UMD and wanted to incorporate the chapel and some Maryland colors into their day.
Before you go on looking through their images, if you’re on a computer, Click HERE so you can have some sweet background music. It’s not only their first dance song, but the song Britni walked down the aisle to. =] I definitely had this on repeat while I edited these photos!
We could not have asked for more beautiful weather on a day when their closest friends and family would be gathering together to celebrate their love.
Their wedding colors included gray suits, pops of yellow and cobalt blue. I love these bright and cheery colors- especially at the reception.
Britni wore a pearl bracelet from her mother as her “something borrowed.”
Assorted disney songs played as guests began taking their seats, which was fitting as they will be Honeymooning in Disney world!! A beautiful live piano piece of At Last I see the light began playing as the rear doors to the chapel opened and Britni and her Dad began walking.
Their ceremony exit was one of the most beautiful exits I have ever seen! The memorial chapel front steps made the perfect layout for a bubble storm exit.
The reception continued with the beautiful yellow and blue theme. The tables were sprinkled with rose petals, candles and white hydrangea (my favorite!) .
Thank you, Britni & James for allowing me to be a part of your special day. It was an absolute honor to document it and get to know you two better! I’m wishing you two many years of happiness together!
